The Goldster Magazine Show with Lucinda

On 18 February, Lucinda Hawksley will be joined on the Goldster Magazine Show by Mike and Andy from Three Dads Walking (https://www.3dadswalking.uk/). They will be talking about how they, and their friend and the third Dad, Tim, have dedicated their time to raising suicide awareness across the country, one step at a time: “Suicide is the biggest killer of those under 35 in the UK. We only learned this terrifying fact because our daughters took their own lives. By raising awareness, we hope we can help prevent other families from being devastated by suicide.”

Mike, Andy and Tim have become famous for their walks around the country, on which they invite other bereaved families to join them. Their walks have called on Parliament to bring about changes in school curriculums and have generated well over £1m for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide, this has enabled the charity to accelerate its growth plans and to extend the opening hours of its suicide prevention helpline to a 24/7 service.
