Pilates Barre (Entry)

A slower paced, low impact class that uses isometric contractions to strengthen your muscles. In learning Barre technique, you can expect to become more aware of your body alignment and increase your mind to body connection. Modifications and progressions will be provided throughout.

Barre Pilates classes take the basic foundations of Pilates and combine them with ballet-inspired moves, like plies and attitudes, and incorporate elements of dance, yoga and strength training.

Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture.  Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis.
