Over half of us will experience chronic pain in our lifetime. According to the World Health Organisation, pain-related diseases are the leading category of illness worldwide. Yet, conventional treatments often provide limited relief, leaving many searching for a new approach.
This 7-week online course offers a transformative path forward.
Dr David Reilly, an NHS doctor for over 40 years, when working in partnership with patients in an NHS Pain Clinic, charted out pathways that allowed people to get back on top of their situation and rebuild their wellness - even in the presence of continued pain.
Human beings have this same built-in ability to re-emerge from difficult situations and suffering. David summarises this as ‘Life responds to nurture.’ His approach, scientifically tested in studies, has been shown to achieve significant long-term wellness enhancement for people struggling with chronic conditions - such as pain.
Dr. Reilly is recognised globally as a pioneer in health and wellness. With a distinguished career spanning roles as a doctor, educator, researcher, and academic, he has received multiple awards for his contributions to offering a vision of better ways to rebuild health. His work addresses the emerging challenges posed by the current surge in chronic illnesses, underscoring the need for solutions beyond traditional medical interventions.
What to Expect:

2. The Foundations of Wellness
Next, you’ll explore a series of six weekly modules, each focusing on core elements of a flourishing life. This series is designed not only for individuals managing chronic pain but for anyone seeking to enhance their well-being.

Stress: Learn effective techniques to manage stress and restore balance.
Anxiety and Worry: Discover tools to quiet anxiety and embrace clarity and joy.
Accomplishment and Achievement: Reignite your sense of purpose and celebrate progress.
Purpose: Explore what drives you and build a life aligned with your values.
Happiness: Develop habits that foster resilience and lasting contentment.
Please note that these are previously recorded sessions facilitated by Goldster therapists, with time for reflection and conversation afterwards.

Dr Reilly will be joining for weekly live Q & A sessions on Thursdays from 6th Feb 12-30 to 1.30 pm on Goldster.
