Abstract Art Class

Hi, I'm Ziad and I am you abstract art teacher. My class will give you perspective and depth to your drawing. Perspective is what makes our art truly unique. We each see things differently - let's embrace it! Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, learning to look at things from a different perspective will give a new dimension to all your drawings. 

Together, we will: 

  • Go through a series of drawing exercises to explore our creativity; 
  • Learn more about abstract art; 
  • Discover the meaning of marks and symbols and its usage in artworks. 

Being creative is about being willing to do things that might seem completely useless, and only in that type of mindset can we discover something new about ourselves! Most importantly, there is no outcome! At least, maybe not in the way you’d expect… Anyone can make a well-rendered drawing of a flower, but your unique creativity is unparalleled.

 

 

Meet the instructor Ziad Nagy
Ziad is an interdisciplinary artist. He used found material in an array of mediums to create interventions with his clients. He received a BFA from the School of Art Institute of Chicago (2012) and an MFA from the Slade school of Fine Art (2017). "Creativity feeds the mind"
